Oven fixed. 1 week wait for a part that takes 10 minutes to put in. Just pulled two cake pans out of the oven. No rainbow cake this time, it's a milk chocolate fudge cookies & cream. =o

Never fails

Started to make a rainbow cake last night. Got about half of the batter colored and ready to put in the pans only to discover the oven wasn't warming up at all. Darn igniter went out on it. Spent 2 hours tearing the oven apart to see if I could rig it just so all that batter wouldn't go to waste with no luck. Oh well, instead I spent today scrubbing my oven with easy off and my hands are stained a lovely brownish color. The oven is the cleanest it has been since we got it though.
